My response to the accusations of homophobia and racism

In 2021, a user on Twitter dug through 14 years of my previous posts. They found two poorly worded jokes from 2017 and 2012, which they reposted and spread widely.

I wanted to provide a response, but not in a way that would add more fuel to the fire. So I addressed it in the opening of my podcast in 2021.

To clarify, I'm absolutely in favour of exposing real problems. But I’m on trial for the misinterpretation of jokes. That’s all.

Those that understand nuance will know that I do not miss honestly calling people slurs. Those that don’t will think what they think.
